I ordered another bag to see if the red milo issue persisted (see below) and was happy to find that the red milo was back to its normal quantity which wasn't overwhelming. The only birds I feed that like red milo are the two doves who hang out in my yard daily. Other than that it just makes an uneaten pile of food that collects below the feeder. now that I know it was a fluke and not a new formula, I'll switch this to a more positive review. I've been buying this seed multiple times a month for years. It's a favourite for the cardinals, some kinds of finches, native song birds. I even see blue jays and blue birds make visits. My Gambel's quail also love some of the seeds. And the squirrels. I haven't rigged an anti-squirrel feeder yet so right now I just accept I'm buying for them too... Because there seems to be a consistency issue with the bird ratio formula, I cannot give 5 stars but on average the birds love this more than any of the other premixed seeds I've purchased. ----------------------------- Original negative review below [looks to have been fluke] ----------------------------- I don't know if it's new formula or not but this bag of Wagners was comprised of 90% Red Milo with some cracked corn, a little bit of millet, a small bit of hardly noticeable sunflower seeds. As in the formula was clearly different from the quality the birds have come to enjoy. I have been ordering wagners frequently for some time and this has give me pause and has me debating ordering another pack. If it was a fluke... ok I can deal with and understand that these things happened, but if they changed their formula to save money like so many companies do and this is the new normal I will not be buying from them in the future and will find a different company for my bird seed needs.

I'm mixing this Deluxe Wild Bird Food, Nyjer & a bit of Kaytee Wild Bird Food Nut & Fruit Seed Blend. The morning doves & finches eat what they want & seem to love it. So far none of the woodpeckers that have pecked our palm trees for years have found the food. One of the many grackles around has come to the feeders when the others were taking a siesta since it's so hot out. Did he like anything? He made a mess & then went on the ground to eat it, so I guess so.

Though my birds really like this seed it seems a little high priced to me. Maybe it's the average price these days but I do wish it was a little larger bag. My birds favor this one and I like the mix of seeds so I go ahead and get it. Good product.

We were looking for something to bring in the brightly colored song birds and the quaker parrots. Knowing the quakers don't normally feed from a feeder it was a long shot. Was I ever wrong, we get hundreds of birds weekly and several quakers a month. It's great seed. The bag has a Velcro type seal making spilled seed and bugs a thing of the past. The quality/quantity of the sunflower seeds far exceed my expectations.

This is good quality birdseed. The birds in my yard really like it. I like that I can get it in a smaller bag it’s easier to handle.

I don't hear any complaints from the birds (except their squabbles from fighting over the most priced seeds). There are no artificial flavors added either (something I found in other brands). Nothing fancy but it works.

The birds love it! I feel like they enjoy the sunflower seeds the most but it’s all getting eaten.
