I have used these for 10 years or more and have been totally satisfied with how they work. I can reuse for a couple of years and they still remain effective. I have tried the soap and water cups but they are so much maintenance trying to keep filled as they dry out in less than a day and the ants know this. When I use this product the ants are gone within the hour I put it up and they stay away.

Before this I tried all sorts of moats - but none worked. The pesky ants just formed an island and sailed across the moat. Since I started using this - no more ants and no need to worry about refilling the moat and dumping out the ants.

This works so good! I have not seen any ants trying to invade my hummingbird feeder. I don’t even see them anymore any where. I highly recommend this! I truly love it! Thank you for making such a great product.

I don't need to say much more than that. They work. Better than the "moat" on the hummingbird feeder - those are useless. I haven't used any other product that works as well to keep ants away. Will buy again.

The other ant traps (with small cups to put in water) did not work at all--the ants crawled right past them and into the hummingbird feeders. These worked beginning the very first day.

I’ve bought these for my many hummingbird feeders for years. I got tired of fighting the ants and now have nothing to worry about. At the end of the season I close them up and sometimes try to reuse. Often they still work.

The product does the job quite well - no ants in the bird feeder. The plastic rings to hang the guard from won’t work well on a lot of the bird feeder rods because of the small radius….I doubt this will last more than one season before that ring breaks in a gust of wind. That said, no ants in the bird feeder, mission accomplished.

I get these every year and sometimes they even last 2 seasons! They really work and keep ants out of the nectar!
